Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opened to a healthy Rs 11.10 cr on its first day (Friday). It showed minimal growth on Saturday, minting Rs 11.50 cr. The film collected Rs 12.25 cr on Sunday, taking its opening weekend total to Rs 34.85 cr.
The numbers remained steady on Monday with Rs 5.25 cr. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani minted Rs 5 cr on Tuesday and Rs 4.50 cr on Wednesday. Thursday brought in Rs 4.25 cr. The first week collections stood at Rs 53.85 cr nett.
In its second weekend, the film showed substantial growth, especially on Saturday. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani collected Rs 6.75 cr on its second Friday. On Saturday, the film jumped 70.37% to earn Rs 11.50 cr.
The 9-day total of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani now stands at Rs 91.58 cr nett. The film is expected to cross the Rs 100 cr mark soon, likely on Sunday.
Despite new releases, the Ranveer-Alia starrer has managed to sustain well so far owing to positive word-of-mouth, the film’s comedy and family entertainer appeal as well as the fresh pairing of the lead stars. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be looking to surpass the Rs 100 cr mark soon and maintain its steady run in the second week.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is a romantic comedy revolving around Rocky (Ranveer Singh) and Rani (Alia Bhatt) who have contrasting personalities but start a relationship. They decide to experience living with each other’s families for three months before getting married.
